My Favorite Store in Varna ♥

PreviousNext

If you ever come to visit Varna I strongly recommend you to go “San Stefano” street, where is one of my favorite shops called “Orfei”. This small cute place is full of interesting objects, made by Bulgarian craftsmen. Amongst the things that I adore are the Troyan ceramics, wooden pots made of walnut-tree, and gorgeous fabrics. Actually the textile is the most impressive thing there, because the owner of the ship Elica is making it by herself, with a lot of love, attention to the details and by preserving the traditions. She has her own spinning wheel and loom and if you are lucky enough you can see her working on it.

And as in Bulgaria such love to the handmade stuff cannot be seen so often I wish Elica and her shop a lot of success, and you – don’t forget to stop by if you go there ;)

First post for the new 2021 - the year that we put First post for the new 2021 - the year that we put so much hope in it. 🤍
I usually don’t like new years resolutions, but every year I choose one word that will be significant for me and while the word for the 2020 was education, in 2021 I want to focus more on connection.
For quite amount of time I was always scared to connect with new people - worried about my accent, my writing to not bother people... and this year I want to overcome this fear and sincerely connect with you.
So here I go - I say that loud and now I have to achieve that. :)
And with that being said - what is your word for 2021?
