MY TRIP TO POZNAN v.0.1 OR WHERE TO STAY

PreviousNext

I really love traveling and especially road trips. Very often when people asked me what is my dream job I say that I would like to be a travel photographer – to visit different places and to explore different cultures. Although my job so far is not the dreamed one, I’m lucky enough to have a friend who, just like me, loves this type of adventures and often we are visiting different places around Europe. After Budapest, Vienna, Berlin, Dresden,  London and Bratislava we decided to visit Poland and the fairy city of Poznan.

We went there to meet with the incredibly talented and charming calligrapher Małgosia Małecka from “Hello Calligraphy” and were so impressed. Not just by her incredible work, but also by the city, the spirit and the people.

Today I decided to start with the pictures from our hotel – Hotel City Solei. Very charming boutique hotel with great service and themed rooms (we stayed in Greece). We found it on Booking.com – the most important site for the traveler, with the incredible score of 9.2. This score is fully deserved though.
Next time you can look forward to pictures from the city of Poznan. I’m sure that you will love it.

It's so nice to hear that people enjoy Poznan :) I always say it's the best city in the world :P but that's because I grew up in there. Now after 8 years of living away it seems like I will be finally returning! Your beautiful pictures make me even more excited :) x

Few days ago my favorite film (Fuji 400 H) out of Few days ago my favorite film (Fuji 400 H) out of the blue was discontinued. At first I felt heartbroken - all the countless hours I’ve been spending working on the skin tones, the greens… I named even my dog Fuji. 🐶
Today I have a completely new feelings - the dark mood is replaced with an excitement. Because times changes and we need to adapt to those changes. I’ve always loved the grain of the Kodak Portra and my favorite earth tones looks amazing in it. I guess I’m so ready to start exploring and work even more harder.
The announcement by Fujifilm actually created a really big buzz and all the film photography community meet in the Clubhouse and we discussed the topic till late at night.
I pull out one of my all time favorite image photographed on Fuji 400 H. Swan looks amazing here and thank you @richardphotolab for the beautiful scans.
And now it is time for a hard work and more film. Portra film.
