Simple Food: Strawberry Cake ♥ Семпла храна: ягодов сладкиш

When the end of the working week approaches it is time for something delicious on “79 ideas”.
I wanted so much to prepare a strawberry cake when strawberries are available and so sweet and fragrant right now. That’s why I chose this recipe and also I admit this paranoia about the infected vegetables spreading around Europe caught me too so I avoid buying vegetables these days. But anyway, that’s another topic. Let’s get back to the strawberry cake. It absolutely fits to the series “Simple Food” because it is really quick to prepare and you don’t need special cooking skills, so it could be prepared by just anyone… even by me as you can see.
 
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 160˚C (320˚F). I always forget and then I need to wait :).
Mix all the products without the strawberries and the flaked almonds in a food processor until well combined.  Grease a deep 20cm loose-bottomed cake tin and spread half of the mixture on the bottom.
Scatter the strawberries over and put the remaining mixture on top of them. Hint: the more strawberries – the better; I didn’t put enough this time but I will correct this the next time.
Scatter with the flaked almonds and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden. Cool, remove from the tin and dust with icing sugar to serve.

Когато наближава края на работната седмица мисля е време и за нещо вкусно тук в “79 ideas”. Много исках в сезона на ягодките да си направим сладкиш с тези плодове. Затова и се насочих точно към тази рецепта, а и освен това си признавам, че параноята със зеленчуците в Европа завладя и мен и аз почти в момента не купувам зеленчуци. Но това е друга тема. Да се върнем към сладкиша с ягодки – той абсолютно пасва на идеята на рубриката Simple Food: да се приготвя бързо и да не изисква някакви специални кулинарни умения, т.е. да може да се направи от всеки – дори и от мен. ;)
Приготвяне:
Смесете всички продукти без ягодките, догато се получи лепкава смес. Разделете я на две и с нея покрийте дъното на намазана с олио форма за торта. След това с разпръснете ягодките, така че да се получи цял ред с ягодки и отгоре тях, поставете останалото тесто. Запомнете че колкото повечко ягоди сложите, толкова по-вкусно ще ви се получи. Аз малко поспестих от тях този път, но следващия ще си поправя грешката задължително.
Печете в предварително загрята фурна на 170гр. за около 45-50 минути.

Този сладкиш се получава много добре, а се приготвя сравнително лесно и бързо. Ако имате възможност го пробвайте през уикенда.
