Postcard from Italy or a three day road trip in the beautiful Vicenza area

PreviousNext

I usually don’t do that, but a picture in my Instagram got so much attention so I decided to send you something like a postcard from Italy. I am here just for few hours, but I am overwhelmed by this beautiful country… as a matter of fact I feel this way every time I come here. Together with two friends we organized a small road trip and I write this post now to show how beautiful Vicenza is. Even the rain that welcomed us here couldn’t wash away my first impression.

This beautiful lake is Lago di Garda, the largest in Italy and we just stopped there for a while. Then we decided to stop also for a cup of the famous Italian ice cream. After that we head straight to Mussolente where we have rented a small villa, the one that impressed some of you so much. It is a stone building consisting of 3 floors and its decoration reminds me of France and its country style. I promise to shoe more details of the house if I manage to take some shots before we create inside the typical girly mess. :)
Tomorrow I will head to Verona so expect more beautiful moments of my small adventure.
Have a great weekend.

As everyone says, your photos are more than beautiful. The way you show food is more interesting than in many cookbooks. I think I'll be a faithful admirerer :)

I know very well Lago di Garda (but the Eastern part of it is in Verona area the Romeo and Giulietta city, not Vicenza).
All the lake coast is full of jewels little towns… I'm happy that you enjoied my country! I'm from Parma, which is not so far from Garda.

Few days ago my favorite film (Fuji 400 H) out of Few days ago my favorite film (Fuji 400 H) out of the blue was discontinued. At first I felt heartbroken - all the countless hours I’ve been spending working on the skin tones, the greens… I named even my dog Fuji. 🐶
Today I have a completely new feelings - the dark mood is replaced with an excitement. Because times changes and we need to adapt to those changes. I’ve always loved the grain of the Kodak Portra and my favorite earth tones looks amazing in it. I guess I’m so ready to start exploring and work even more harder.
The announcement by Fujifilm actually created a really big buzz and all the film photography community meet in the Clubhouse and we discussed the topic till late at night.
I pull out one of my all time favorite image photographed on Fuji 400 H. Swan looks amazing here and thank you @richardphotolab for the beautiful scans.
And now it is time for a hard work and more film. Portra film.
