HOW THE ARCHITECT LIVES

PreviousNext

if i have to describe in a few words how the danish architect pernille arends lives i would most probably use the words clean and modern look with the presence of lots of wood in perfect quality. here if there is no concern that the wood is in different shades and types, it is important to be very precise and in that lies the originality of this home.

i personally have always thought that the wood must be in the same hues, but this house completely changes my beliefs and i really like it.

besides the wood, this home is full of precious design elements, some of which are no longer produced and are more than 50 years old, such as the green, still operational phone. part of these design icons i’ve shown here for you.

/ pendant lamp / chair / candle holder copper / floor lamp / lounge stol /

This is the second largest island in the Bay and has many stories to tell. Most of them - probably not so happy. The island was used as an immigration station where officials detained, inspected and examined approximately one million immigrants. Many people primarily from Asia, have to spend here months waiting for the heir immigration status.
