Weekend house with vintage touches // Къща за почивка с винтидж детайли
Near to New York there is a weekend house which belongs to the head of men’s design at “J. Crew”. I guess also for you, just like me is interesting to see how people with such exquisite taste and style as Frank Muytjens are living. His affection for collecting vintage items and furniture is quite obvious – in the living room for example there are gorgeous armchairs by Marcel Breuer, chairs and gorgeous table made of barn wood, surrounded by vintage oak chairs and stools. I think that Muytjens likes to have in his home accessories furniture that can inspire him in his work, simply because the colors in his home are very similar to the color palette that “J. Crew” uses.

Crew” И за вас, както и за мен е доста интересно да видя как живеят хора, които имат толкова изискан вкус и стил като Frank Muytjens. Тук отдалече си личи любовта му към колекционирането на винтидж вещи и мебели – във всекидневната например впечатляващи са столовете от Marcel Breuer и прекрасния ъгъл с дървената маса, заобградена изцяло от стари столове. Изобщо забелязва се, че Muytjens се заобгражда с неща, които да го вдъхновяват и при неговата работа – цветовете в този дом са доста сходни с цветовата палитра на мъжката колекция на “J. Crew”.
