THE SUMMER RETREAT OF THE DANISH STYLIST
Hello friends,
are you ready for another beautiful home tour? This time it is a cozy Scandinavian cottage with charming details and amazingly beautiful kitchen. It is a small, old, traditional wooden house close to the sea where old and new is mixed very carefully by the owner, the stylist and photographer Mette Wotkjær.
Also in case that you are inspired by the look of this home tour, I decided to include here some of the colors and textures used there. I think that it will be helpful for you and actually this is what makes one place beautiful – the mixing of colors and textures, right?

Blonde in this City
What a stunning palette of colours. These are exceptional! I love this space and the peaceful, calming, sunny feel of this home.
Beautiful! I love how she brightened the interior by adding the blue accent and I wish I could see this tone more often (not only in interior design, but generally). However I prefer a kind of modern minimalism (especially something like this, I love the ones in the second and third picture), I find Mette's house beautifully balanced, somewhere between old and new. Oh, and don't forget to mention that I fell in love with the detail of the bedroom!
