We transformed this living room space into a fantasy room with a pretty minimal and modern tablescape and a touch of softness, a bit of an etherealness, and of course the ghostly vibe.
The white fabric installation in the background really sets the stage for the party. We achieved this look by adding four mosquito nets and draping them organically through the room. We created this minimal install from painted white branches and even like that the look feel completed. For softness, we added a floral arrangement from Bloomwell & Co.
To add an element of romance and to soften up the modernest of white color, Brandi from Cuyo Calligraphy and Crafts used her beautiful calligraphy and graceful choice of paper.
Our show stopper – the cake was actually a very last-minute addition, where Sachi from Ugly Weather Portraits made an all-white cake covered in skulls and decorated with a pile of bones on tope. The skulls are made of candy melts (using a mini skull mold) and the bones are made of meringues but piped and molded for extra stiffness.
Our model, Dari Dorj’s hair and makeup were done by Karla from Make Up By Karla. Dari wore Cynthea Rowley dress.
No matter that in these times of social distancing we have so many restrictions – we still can create a magical and so ethereal Halloween right in the living room for our family.

Всички рестрикции и препоръки, ограничават традиционното разменяне на лакомства, но пък това не означава че Хелоин не може да се отпразнува подобаващо. С тази идея аз и Жулиет от C+W Events подготвихме този изцяло бял, стилен концепт за празненство във всекидневната.
Ние превърнахме тази бяла всекидневна във стая пълна с фантазии, с красив минималистичен дизайн на масата и с щипка призрачност.

Are you ready for the holidays?
I was a bit late this year again and I decorated my house just now, but I truly enjoyed the process as always. I like the clean, simple decoration and this time I decided to stick to the white with few green branches. Of course the Christmas lights are important for good mood.
I love the small clay Christmas trees that I made. I just cut big isosceles clay triangle, waited for it to harden and made the stem of cork screw.
And here is a little tip from me: try to style your trees in a group and when you style such decoration you should have odd number of trees in each group.

Готови ли сте за празниците? Аз и тази година мъничко позакъснях и едва сега си декорирах апартамента по-празнично. Но пък декорирането винаги е особено приятно за мен. Харесвам по изчистената декорация и този път заложих на бялото, разнообразено с няколко зелени клонки. Разбира се нежните лампички са задължителни за всяко празнично настроение.
Особено много си харесвам малките глинени дръвчета, които си направих сама. За целта просто изрежете големи равнобедрени триъгълници от глина, изчакайте да се втвърди и направете ствола от коркова тапа. Изрежете я внимателно, за да пъхнете вътре глинения триъгълник и готово.
И един съвет от мен: когато стайлвате подобен тип декорация, я подреждайте на групи и нека броят на дръвчетата в групите да е нечетен. Приятно забавление.

This time of the year everything is so festive and beautiful. People are excited, they wrap gifts, decorate in all different styles and colors. But among all this the simplicity is what caught my eye. When I came across this beautiful Australian home I just couldn’t not share it with you. This is the perfect Christmas decoration for me. White, neutral and grey meet a twist of green and beautiful old wood combined with linen, lots of linen. Simple, stylish but still festive. Isn’t it?

Но измежду всички тях семплите неща все така се открояват според мен. И когато забелязах този възхитителен австралийски дом, декориран с толкова много вкус, няма как да не го споделя с вас, за да му се порадвате и вие. Това е перфектната коледна декорация според мен. Бяло, неутрално и сиво се среща с зелено и красотата на старо дърво се комбинира с естествените нишки на лененото платно. Семпло, стилно и все пак празнично, нали?

I will always love Christmas decoration in white, but today… here I have for you something gorgeous, pretty and totally not white. The fantastic interior stylist Lo Bjurulf styled this Christmas in blue-grey palette and made everything look so cozy and calm.
I love the idea of that ladder decorated as a Christmas tree. It is so creative and gorgeous.

Винаги, просто винаги моята представа за перфектната коледна декорация ще е в бяло, но днес искам да ви покажа една различна от тази идея. Фантастичният интериорен стилист Lo Bjurulf аранжира тази Коледа в синьо-сива гама и прави всичко да изглежда толкова уютно и спокойно.
А най-интересна сред всичко тук е идеята за стълба украсена като коледно дръвче. Толкова красива снимка отдавна не бях виждала.

The end of November is definitely the time to start with Christmas inspiration, isn’t it? This august I was working on the styling and photography of the autumn-winter look book for Beau-coup (online company that sells wedding and party favors). My favorite collection for them is Woodland Wonderland and I think that it is a great start for the beginning of our Christmas inspirational folder. The accents are on the white, the wood, the checkered pattern cloth and the lovely dusty miller.

Като начало искам да ви представя една семпла колекция, която заснех и аранжирах за есенно-зимната колекция на Beau-coup(интернет компания от Калифорния, която продава сватбени и парти аксесоари и продукти). Моята най-любима колекция сред всички тях се нарича Woodland Wonderland и е издържана в бяло, дърво, шотландско каре и любимите ми dusty miller (нямам идея как се казват тези цветя на български – уикипедия ги открива само на руски: крестовник пепельный). Надявам се да ви хареса.

Hello dear readers.How was your weekend? I spent my weekend mostly out – on Saturday I was shooting and on Sunday I enjoyed the amazing performance of Cirque Du Soleil. It was fantastic!
Today is raining here, the skies are grey and this reminds me of the white snowy winter. I guess that this year I won’t see snow for Christmas, but I can dream about it right? Happy Monday.

Хубаво е да се завърна тук след забързания ми уикенд. Прекарах цялото време вън – в събота имах вълнуваща фотосесия, а в неделя посетих изключително представление на Cirque Du Soleil. Беше фантастично! А как беше вашия уикенд?
Днес тук вали и небето е доста сиво и мъгливо и това ми напомня на бялата снежна зима. Предполагам, че тази година няма да видя много сняг за Коледа, но поне мога да си помечтая за това. Хубав понеделник!
What inspires you today? The weather, friends or was it just the fact that the Christmas is coming?
If you are in “that” holiday mood, wait… I have something for you today. I was wrapping some gifts the other day… and took few pictures for you.
When it comes to gifts wrapping I’m a big fan of the formula: less is more. Trying to keep it simple I just used a white paper and a branch from a Christmas tree. Everything is super easy… well maybe except the part where I had to stick the branch to the paper. But at the end I won :)

Ако сте в “онова” празнично настроение, почакайте… имам нещо за вас днес. Преди дни опаковах няколко подаръка и направих няколко снимки.
Когато става въпрос за подаръци, аз съм голям почитател на формулата: малкото е повече. Опитвайки се да запазя простички нещата, използвах бяла хартия и стръкче от коледно дръвче. Всичко е супер лесно… освен може би онази част, в която залепяте стръктето за хартията. Но в крайна сметка – аз спечелих. :)
