African Beach Calligraphy
A very interesting idea comes to Andrew van der Merwe from Cape Town, South Africa – calligraphy on the beach.
Unfortunately these beauties are surviving in the wild about an hour before the wind bursts the sand or the sea to wash away the letters. Most of the forms are inspired by the African writing systems.

sometimes it is the short lived beauty that is most inspiring isn't it?
I really like your blog by the way: bilingual, clean and optimistic indeed.Especially the design and the colors.

These are crazy cool. Nice find!
My first time to see such gorgeous African calligraphy. I think every land has its own style, who knows maybe..
