Do you have your goals set? I mean like.. you decide you must do something and than you start putting all your efforts to accomplish it?

People say that a man without goals is like a boat, left to float freely in a river.

Today I will share something with you… it’s my very secret six goals for the next few months:

To quit smoking. Completely and forever.Probably I am the oddest smoker on the planet! I can stay without a single cigarette for a week or even more and then for one night to smoke a whole box!

To learn drinking more water. I’ve made some progress there, but I’m still far far away from the ideal 2-3 liters per day.

To lose some weight – at least 5 kg. and to keep it. I want to do it healthily. I have some ideas which diet to choose but I need to be more consistent.

To go at least 3 times per week in the gym. I mean except my regular softball practices.

Update: I just got a prepaid monthly card for a nearby gym. I hope this also will be a good motivation to gp to the gym regularly. :)))

To learn to sew better. I really want to create my own dresses. They will be unique, you will see :)))

To advance further with English language. More often I have the feeling that I have poor language dictionary.. That’s really bad if you write a blog in English, right :)))


I hope that when I shared this information here, I consider these 6 points as a promise, like I have given my word to do it. And I always try to keep my promises.

What about you … What are your secret methods to motivate yourself? What are your goals?


Имате ли си свои цели? Такива, които си поставяте и след това се стремите да постигнете?

Казват, че човек без цел е като лодка, оставена да плува по течението на реката.

Днес съм решила да споделя моите шест цели за следващите няколко месеца:

1. Пълното и окончателно спиране на цигарите – сигурно съм най-странния пушач на планетата, но мога да не пуша цяла седмица и след това за една вечер да изпуша цяла кутия. Катастрофа.

2. Да се науча да пия повече вода. Имам известен напредък в тази посока, но все още съм далеч от мечтаните 2-3 литра на ден.

3. Да отслабна с 5 кг. може и повече и да спра с резките промени в теглото. Искам да го направя здравословно. Имам някакви идеи какъв хранителен режим да спазвам, но много силно се нуждая от достатъчно воля.

4. Да посещавам поне 3 пъти в седмицата фитнес салона. Извън тренировките по софтбол.

5. Да се науча да шия. Наистина искам да мога да си правя сама дрехи, защото ще са уникални и никой няма да има такива :))).

6. Да напредна малко с английския. Все по-често започвам да усещам, че имам беден езиков речник…

Ами това е. Казвам си всичко тук. Когато го споделя с вас, после приемам тези 6 точки като обещания. Все едно съм ви дала думата си да го направя, и така май се задължавам да го направя. :)))

А вие … имате ли си някакви тайни методи, които да ви дават по-добра мотивация?

    о, не си единственият 'фалшив пушач' и аз бях така. днес стават 3 месеца откак (за пореден път) не пуша, и аз съм решила този път да е за винаги. 10 години стигат!

    с цигарите наистина трябва да имаш една много истинска причина, която да си припомняш всеки път като ти се допуши. за мен е сутринта след като съм изпушила една кутия предната вечер :) няма такива главоболия! засега върши работа :)

    Those are wonderful goals! Don't worry, your English is lovely! I don't know what exactly it takes other to get things moving and shaking, but only YOU can find it! Good Luck… and keep us posted!

    I keep making these lists to myself, but sometimes I find it very hard to follow! Specially the "losing weight" one!! Good luck with your goals! I hope you get them all done! (And them, tell me how you did it, ok?)
