Let me show you a lovely house in the UK. In the past this home was an old mill house and now it belongs to an artistic family. They completely repaired everything and look what a cute home they have now.
What I particularly like is that there is plenty of light all over the house and as a favorite decorative element I would choose these big green bottles in the dining room.
