HEALTHY ITALIAN FOCACCIA

Here comes our usual Sunday simple food recipe. As I am a huge fan of the Mediterranean cuisine today I’ll show you how to prepare that traditional Italian bread with olive oil and herbs. 

The Focaccia has many variants and I experimented with some of them so maybe mine is not really a traditional Focaccia, but it is healthy for sure. Here is what you will need:

In a large bowl mix the flour, 4 tbsp olive oil, the yeast, the salt and the water and stir until you have dough that is not sticky. Spread some olive oil in another bowl and put the dough inside, leaving it there for about an hour.  Meanwhile you can make the mixture which we will spread on the dough before baking, It is made by mixing the garlic, cut on tiny pieces, the rosemary and the remaining olive oil.
When you dough is ready after about an hour, stretch it and put in a baking tin.  Before putting it into the oven make tiny holes with your fingers on the dough. Bake at 200˚C (~400˚F) for about 15 minutes.

You can serve it as a snack or also for lunch and dinner.

Ето я и нашата традиционна неделна здравословна рецепта. Тъй като съм голям почитател на средиземноморската кухня, днес ще ви покажа как да си направите традиционен италиански хляб със зехтин и билки. Този хляб си има най-различни вариации и аз също си добавих моя си, така че май няма да е най-традиционната рецепта.

Ето какви съставки ще са ви необходими, за да си направите собствена фокача: 
В голяма купа размесете брашното, 4 лъжици зехтин, маята, солта и водата и бъркайте докато получите тесто, което не бива да лепне. Поставете го в отделна купа намазана със зехтин и го оставете да си почине за около час. През това време можете да приготвите сместа, с която ще намажем тестото. Тя се получава като разбъркаме ситно нарязания чесън и розмарин и останалия зехтин.

След като измине единия час, разделете тестото на две части и с пръсти го разтеглете, за да се обръзуват две хубавки кръгли питки. Поставете в големи тави и с пръсти направете малки ямички. Печете след това на 200 градуса за около 14-15 минути. 

Готовото хлебче може да сервирате както за обяд, така и за вечеря. Също така пък можете да използвате и за снакс. :)
