Charming Apartment in Poland ♥ Чаровен апартамент в Полша

PreviousNext

Are you ready for a home tour today?
Actually this virtual tour is very special and I’m excited because we will talk about an apartment in Poland. With really good design, trendy and this is what makes it special, because let’s be honest – we don’t see very often in East Europe homes that can inspire.

That’s why I admire the work of Loft Magdalena Adamus and her team. Their portfolio gives me hope that the things here are starting to develop and there are people who appreciate the originality and the good design.

hey, i don't agree with you, i'm from poland and i'm sure that in our country (and sure in each country, also east – ones) are talented designers and beautiful houses. Poland and East countries aren't the end of the world! we also have sens of style and take care of our homes and their aspects:)

I think you have not visited many polish homes…Poles have very good taste and they take care of their homes , decorate nicely and with a little resources can create beautiful rooms, hoses and gardens…I feel offended by you post, althoug I know that was not your intention, take care:)

Maybe you haven't seen beautiful homes in East Europe, but Poland is situated in Central Europe and there are so many beautiful and cozy apartments and homes.

This minimalist interior is fantastic. The full wall bookcases are extremely intruiging. I always dreamed of having one and of course having read all the books on it (like Mr.Darcy :) )

I'm Polish, too, like most of the others who commented on your post before me, and for a change, a don't feel a bit offended by your opinions, statements, or sentiments. You're the designer and are absolutely, with no doubt entitled to your own opinion. You also don't speak solely about the Polish design, but the East European, in general. We, Poles, have to chill it once in a while and put to rest our nationalistic tendencies, hers is just a point of view, learn to respect it. Thanks for listening, people, just needed to take this off my chest. Radostina – this is one lovely home, indeed. Hugs. Gosia

I like the colour palette but not my favourite look. Feels a little too stark, would like to see a rug on a floor.

Hi, I'm from Estonia, which is also quite often titled as Eastern Europe, so I feel that I have to say something in reply to this post. Considering the opinion that there are less inspiring homes in Eastern Europe – I think that it all comes down to the overall economic situation… Yes, I know that money is not the most important thing then creating a beautiful home, but let's be honest – if your budget is very restricted you can't always afford everything you dream of. I know many people whose dream home is completely different from that they live in today, but they simply don't have money to update their living… Sad.
Ok, I'll stop now, it has been already too many words for a comment, but I wanted to give just some explanations and my point of view.

By the way, I love your blog and I have followed it about a month or something, but this is the first time I say something :)
    All the best, Anu

Hello girls and thank you SO much for the comments. I would like to apologize if I have offend someone with my opinion – I didn't mean to hurt you. The most important message that I wanted to send with this post was that actually in Eastern Europe we begin to witness quality designs and I'm really happy to see that. That's why I've mentioned the work of this Polish Design Studio. If you know some more – please share with me, I’d love to publish more interiors coming from this part of Europe.
And probably Anu is right, that this is because of the economic situation. I don't know. But let's be positive, ok? The things are developing… and this is important.
Thank you so much again for the discussion. I'm really happy to have readers like you.
I wish you guys a lovely, positive and sunny day.
    Hugs from Prague.

I love the space and the color scheme, although I am not huge fan of all the furniture: The rounded chairs look nice, but are quite impractical; I like chairs that can be pulled close to the table. Here the arm rests prevent on getting the chairs close to the table, so while eating it's not possible to lean comfortably on back rest. These chairs remind me of similar ones in a furniture company where I worked years ago; still recall those long, uncomfortabe meetings sitting on those chairs…
