KARLSTEJN CASTLE

PreviousNext
Did you know that I have master’s degree in History and I am really passionate about the European Medieval? I imagine that during these times there were some pretty romantic things related to princesses, knights, cavalry etc., things which I know are pretty far from the reality.

Today I’ve had the chance once again to be near the history of that times by visiting one of the most magnificent Czech castles – the Karlstejn castle. It was built by the most popular Czech king – Charles IV, who gave the name also to the most popular bridge in Prague – the Charles Bridge.

But enough history because on that topic I am pretty talkative and you’ll have hard time stopping me.
The castle is close to Prague and if you have a chance I recommend visiting it.
