I have always admired Yana Frank … not only because she is really talented illustrator, but at the same time because she has many significant achievements in her career.
She has worked as art-director at the Berlin branch of Art. Lebedev Studio, she was lector at the Internet Academy in Berlin, she has been art and creative director at several studios in Berlin … untill 2002 when she quits everything after discovering that she has cancer.

At this point she starts to spend her time creating her favorite illustrations and fight with the cancer. In September 2005 she made 4-th surgery because of liver metastases.

“I am officially among ‘dead people’ I am drawing for Art. Lebedev Studio, living between Berlin and Los Angeles, fighting for life and winning every day.”

She also writes books, makes the book covers, exhibitions, etc all the things that make her happy. Beautiful colors, rigor, attention to the detail and gorgeous typography, impressive ideas are just some of the things that ccould be found in the illustrations of Yana Frank

Винаги съм изпитвала респект към Яна Франк, не само защото тя е наистина талантлив илюстратор, но и в същото време защото успява да достигне големи висоти в нейната кариера.

Работила е като арт-директор в берлинския клон на Студиото на Артемий Лебедев, преподавала е в Интернет Академия в Берлин, била е арт и креативен директор в няколко студиа в Берлин… и през 2002г. се отказва от всичко, след като разбира, че е болна от рак.

Оттук нататък, започва да запълва дните си творейки своите любими илюстрации и воювайки с рака. През септември 2005г. прави четвъртата си операция заради метастази.

“аз се числя към мъртъвците, рисувам за студиото на Артемий Лебедев, живея между Берлин и Лос Анджелис, боря се за живот и печеля всеки свой ден. “
Тя също пише и книги, прави корици, изложби, изобщо всичко, което я прави щастлива.

Прекрасни цветове, взискателност, внимание към детайла, красива типография са само малко от нещата, които могат да се открият в илюстрациите и. Много впечатляващи са и идеите в тях.
