Inspiration from East London ♥

PreviousNext

The home of the stylist Abigail Ahern in East London is a very nice combination of modern design and vintage. The house was built in 1860 and from outside you can’t differentiate it from the others around, but inside it is full of surprises. Beautiful game of contrast and combinations. Like that in the living room, where together with the designer chairs by Hans Bratterud stays leather chair, bought from the flea market for 10 pounds.

This is the second largest island in the Bay and has many stories to tell. Most of them - probably not so happy. The island was used as an immigration station where officials detained, inspected and examined approximately one million immigrants. Many people primarily from Asia, have to spend here months waiting for the heir immigration status.
