Few Creative Projects by “Funkt Architects”, Sofia //

PreviousNext

Today I would like to tell you about the work of one interesting architectural studio from Sofia. “Funkt Architects” are six young Bulgarians with plenty of interesting ideas, a different approach to their work and love for the wood. From some chopped walnut pieces these talented people have made a wonderful floor lamp, the baklava chair and many other beautiful furniture that you can view on their website. My favorite of their projects is the interior design for a shop for natural home products. I added their address to my notebook and I can’t wait to visit their place which by the way is very special the next time I am in Sofia. There are lots of exhibitions, workshops and in general is a great place where you can read and enjoy your afternoon coffee and a piece of cake.

I have seen many things made from old and unused stuff but this is the best example of creativity. These designs are so real. I think I got some good inspiration here. Thanks for sharing.

This is the second largest island in the Bay and has many stories to tell. Most of them - probably not so happy. The island was used as an immigration station where officials detained, inspected and examined approximately one million immigrants. Many people primarily from Asia, have to spend here months waiting for the heir immigration status.
