Five Easy Decorating Ideas // Пет лесни идеи за декорация
Some time ago I received an interesting proposal by one of the most popular women portals in Bulgaria – jenite.bg. They wanted me to be their guest for a month and to prepare few materials for them. The first article was published a week ago and I shared five quick decoration ideas for the winter. I thought you might be interested to see them too.
1. Use knitting details – knitting is usually related to the winter, the warmth and the coziness. You can use soft knitted blanket put at the end of the bed, balls of yarn in a basket or knitted cushions scattered on the couch.
2. Tree stump – you have probably noticed how popular this element became recently. The color of the wood brings warmth and could be even functional – use it as a coffee table or put some flowers on it.
3. Sheep skin or an imitation – it’s soft and warm and you can use it as a rug, on the dining chairs or in your home office.
4. Beautiful white pottery – white tea set with delicate forms could fit perfectly on the coffee table or in the kitchen.
5. Brand new chandelier – I would recommend you a bamboo or the copper one. No matter which you will choose, you should choose it carefully according to the place where it will be. If the lamp shade is too big you could visually reduce the space.

Преди известно време бях помолена от един от големите женски портали в България – jenite.bg да им гостувам за един месец, като подготвя няколко материала за тях. Първият излезе преди седмица и в него обсъждахме пет бързи идеи за зимата, които няма да натоварят бюджета и лесни за приложение.
1. плетивото – то винаги се свързва със зимата, с топлината и уют. Това може да бъде меко плетено одеало поставено небрежно в края на леглото, кълбета с прежда в кош в някой ъгъл или пък плетени декоративни възглавнички пръснати на дивана.
2. част от ствола на дърво, пън – забелязвали ли сте колко популярен елемент е напоследък? цветовете на дървото внасят една приятна топлина и излъчване и в същото време може да бъде много функционално – да се използва за масичка, няколко такива с различни височини биха направили и чудесен цветарник.
3. овчата кожа или имитацията и – тя е мека и топла и може да се използва като килимче, върху столовете в трапезарията или в домашния офис.
4. красива бяла керамика – чаеният сервиз в бели цветове и приятни форми би стоял чудесно върху всяка холна масичка или на кухненския рафт.
5. нова лампа – аз лично бих ви препоръчала бамбукова или пък с цвят на мед, каквато и да изберете обаче, най-важното е да я съобразите с размерите на стаята. Прекалено голямата лампа може да намали пространството визуално и да не е функционална.

I totally agree with the first 3 on your list, but I think you forgot about candlelight!! =) So much cosier than a chandelier… And it gives more warmth too – essential in winter. I’m silly enough to use candlelight all year (only reducing the number of items in summer) – I really think it gives necessary life to the interior.

I love the cozyness of knitting at home. And have added recently a new carpet to.
Love to use white ceramics…are easier for everyday, and use touches of colour in little cups, and so.
Really love all of them…
I really like your choices here. The restrained use of the accent of color and/or texture works really well. I especially like the ginger chair above and the bedroom in #2.
So I love knit details, wood stumps, sheepskin, white pottery, and chandeliers, would that be a little overboard to try to stock up on all of the above? :)
