Festival of the Roses in Bulgaria // Фестивал на розата в България
One of the places that I’ve always wanted to visit and feel is the Festival of the roses in Kazanluk, Bulgaria. This time again I couldn’t make it, but thanks to the fantastic pictures taken by Alexandra Pavlova we can feel the mood in the Rose Valley. This valley is famous for its rose-growing industry. The gathering process is traditionally a women’s task, where from May to June the flowers are carefully cut one by one and laid in baskets.
Едно от местата, които винаги съм искала да посетя, видя и усетя е Фестивалът на розата в Казанлък. И тази година не ми се получи, но благодарение на фантастичните снимки на Александра Павлова имаме възможност да надникнем и ние в долината на розите. Тази долина е известна с това, че там розите се отглеждат с цел произвеждането на розово масло. Розоберът е традиционно работа на жените, които от май до юни събират цветовете на всяка една роза и внимателно го поставят в кошници.
