CURRENT CRUSH: PRIMITIVE WOODEN FURNITURE

PreviousNext
Does your taste changes with the time? Mine – yes. I used to like clean minimalistic shapes and lines and nowadays I noticed that I’m very much into the primitive wooden furniture – little cute stool, table or bench from light wood, unpainted and imperfect. It goes very well in white surrounding and also in light grey and brings nice, beautiful texture. You can also use it outdoors or indoors and for me it evokes such a sweet, summer, Mediterranean mood.

Oh yes, from time to time taste, likes and desires evolve, I adore each and every photo you posted. Plus the third photo with the gorgeous primitive table and the sexy shaped white vases???? Sheer inspiration – L-O-V-E them.

I too like the raw texture of wood in a white and grey palette. I especially like the second photo you share. My son carves wood bowls, boards, spoons, knives…his work is art and beautiful, but made to use every day.

Wow! Great photo inspirations. I agree with you that the textures natural piece produce can have a huge impact on the way a space "feels". My husband loves to make little furniture pieces from time to time and it always feels so much warmer and sentimental than if we had purchased it at a store.

This is the second largest island in the Bay and has many stories to tell. Most of them - probably not so happy. The island was used as an immigration station where officials detained, inspected and examined approximately one million immigrants. Many people primarily from Asia, have to spend here months waiting for the heir immigration status.
