DESIGN ICONS: POTATO CHIP CHAIR

I have a big crush on this chair. Its shape is so amazingly perfect – simple yet beautiful. It is designed in 1946 by the talented couple Charles and Ray Eames and is popular ever since. In 2001 Time magazine awarded it “Design of the Century”. No matter where you see it – in white or in dark surroundings this chair will definitely stand out. It has two versions: with wooden or chrome-plated steel legs. My favorite is the chrome one. Which one you like more?
